It works on magnetic (iron) surfaces. Many fridge doors are magnetic, but some stainless steel appliances are not — test with a regular fridge magnet first if you're unsure, since the Dot Magnetic Hook won't grip a non-magnetic surface.
How much weight can it hold?+
It's designed for lighter everyday items — keys, an apron, a tote bag. Heavier items may cause it to slip off a magnetic surface over time.
Can I use it near a stove or heat source?+
Avoid prolonged exposure above 80°C — the magnet weakens with sustained heat, so it's better suited to a fridge, locker or radiator that isn't constantly hot.
Is the multi-pack worth it?+
